CRYSTAL CLEAR OXYGEN MACHINE? how good is it?

I'm just going to buy second hand CRYSTAL CLEAR OXYGEN MACHINE and MICRODERMABRASION MACHINE, Just wondering if any one can tell me how good is it? and how profitable? Many thanks.
Do i have to be beutician to use it?

Of Course you need to be trained to use it, dont you go to a mecanic to have your car fixed?? so you need to go to a skin therapist to treat your skin, i had 2 treatments with these machines and found them useless especially the oxygen machine, If your not a therapist it will be a waste of money as people will know your not qualified.:!:

hi, i used this machine at the last salon i worked, the microdermabrasion is not as powerful as the normal machines and the heads if not used properly can scratch the skin. it is not as good as its meant to be it has been in he press quite alot with clebs apparently using it like madonna and the cast of friends. but to be honest i did not see the results promised by the company, the maxi lip treatment is meant to plump lips and increase collegen by 350%, dont get me wrong you will see a slight difference when you first have it done but not a permant results, can be quite expensive. one good thing is the products smell great and all clients love the smell, hope i helped

Remember that when buying second hand electrical equipment you must get it PAT tested before use on any clients.

we have crystal clear and they are both really populer. clients seem to love it. we have a client in who has scarring and its really reduced it. its not one of my favourite treatments but our clients seem to love it. you'll definatly need training in it i certanitly wouldnt let just anyone do it on me.

Many thanks. I have done my decision I dont think i'll buy it. I just opening my hair salon and am looking to introduce beuty in there. Allready decided to have spray tanning. But it's still not enough. any way thanks. i'll think of something else.

Its probably one of the worst machines on the market!!! Steer well clear!

If the air is humid your crystals will get blocked and not work properly, same if any moisture gets in the system, plus repairs cost a small fortune!

I used to work for a microdermabrasion company that sold both beauty and medical grade machines and the difference was astounding.

Go for a crystal clear treatment then ask a few reps to come round from other companies and I promise you, you will feel how different they are.

Crystal clear feels like all it does it suck air! compare that to other machines that you really feel like a good exfoliation has took place.

You need to be able to control both crystal and air so you can alternate the both for clients more sensitive etc.

Also it helps if all the wiring is outside the machine as the tubes wear away (depending on machine its best to change them every 50 treatments).

Also are the heads a) disposable or b) sterilisable.

And no you cant do this treatment unless your qualified. You can cause all kinds of problems with microdermabrasion machines such as bruising, scarring and hyper pigmentation etc.

In the right hands the right machine can give fantastic results not just on the face but also on the body (back, bum, thighs or belly are popular) hands and feet!

So Kate, if Crystal Clear is so bad, what machines would you recommend for both MDA and Oxygen?

there are at least 3 really excellent microdermabrasion machines on the market that are a fraction of the cost of crystal clear.

I could name them but as I worked for one of the companies I dont want to seem biased.

If you do your homework then you will see the difference.

hi you mentioned something else to try in your salon what about eyelash extensions ive been doing them for about six months now and they have really taken off, another thing is i know a lady in southend who comes to your salon for a day and does crystal clear she rents the room from you and your clients get the microdermabrasion you could then see if it takes off!!
