I've read the tutorial on curling and am a bit confused- I have one client with this, all the others whose natural nails are growing out have no problems (neither did I when I wore L+p overlays).
She has forever French enhancements with a square free edge. Whenever she comes back for rebalances I round off her own free edge and when reapplying the white I drag it down just before it sets to make the square free edge , hence sealing her free edge to stop the curling.
How would I deal with this if someone has just clear L+P overlays, especially on a short free edge? I have read the tutorial but got confused about the clamping because surely if it's clear powder you'd see it?
Also, is every person prone to this? I never got it when I wore overlays and this is the only client I've seen it on so far.
Thanks for your help in advance-xx

You'd have to look pretty hard to see any clamping. It is not obvious if done well. Just run a small bead down the sides of the free edge and then make sure you don't file it all away when finishing.

So it's a bit like applying gel?

You would do the same with any system ... the principal is all the same.
