Hi

I have just trained in curly & bouncy blow drys.
I am having trouble in keeping the curl on curly blowdrys. They taught me to just use the brush for the curl, the curl will be perfect for about 1 min then it will drop, is it acceptable to use barrel tongs for the curl?

Are you using the cold shot before you unwind the hair blast it with cold for a minute then pin the curl in or wrap a Velcro in it

Leave your brushes in to cool down, I leave mine in until the end then take them all out, nice curls which lasts for days x

If you want a bouncy curl first thing is to make sure that the hair is hot enough, after taking the brush out, the hair should fall into a curl straight away, otherwise you need more heat first. After taking the curl out the brush you can kind of cup it in your hand and scrunch it upwards and allow it to cool down. Another option for more volume is to secture them with a pin curl clip. Whenever the hair is still warm it is still setting. Another option that takes more practice is unwinding the curl around the brush as you take it out, using the hairdrier to apply heat to the hair as you unwind it.

Any chance you could do a video? I'm not sure I fully understand Adam?
