hi all :)

I am delighted to have purchased the NSI technail colour kit and cannot wait to start experimenting. Anyway I was a tad disappointed as I thought there was going to be some kind of recipe card to get me started. i`ve studied the colour wheel and read the tutorials but just wondered if any of you geeks had a rough recipe for cool, neutral and warm? Then I can tweak things once the basics are formed. Before getting the technail colour kit I used the pink mask (I have used a few times on nail biters) but it just looks so dead!! (hard to explain) so any help would be brill.

There is no 'scoop' or anything (!) but I do have one of those baking spoon sets so was just going to measure it by that.

I HAVE at one time seen NSI recipes in here but I have searched and searched but could I find the posts - no!!!

Thanks

NSI have recently added some coverage powders so why not ask for a sample of them instead.

I have the technail colour kit and its fantastic for custom blending colours for fancy french etc, but i have never used it for custom blended nail bed colours. Too much hassle!:)

Having said that Emmmsybabe did have a recipe for a lovely nail bed custom blend. PM her, im sure she would share

I have the tech kit and got a spoon with it and a sheet with colours and recipies but must admit tryed custom blend mixes (not on the sheet) and just didnt get on with it i will have a look for it as Ems (was her own recipie) sent it to me but got a feeling it was deleted as that was when i was on my OH pc now have my own and didnt transfer all documents. I did get a tiny tiny sample of the new masque colour from NSI which i havent tried yet so if you give them a ring they will send you a sample out.
If i find it i will send it to you in a pm.

hi ladies and thanks for your replies :)

I will give them a ring and ask for a sample of the new coverage powders and send a pm re the recipe!

Going to have a play anyway as I would love to be able to make some for my nail biters.

Cheers xxx

ive tried the new purely pink masque by nsi and i think its a lovely colour, much more natural looking.i have got a cb mix using nsi which is
for every 4 scoops or radiant pink its
1 radiant white
abit of brown and a tiny bit of red
ive never tried this but for me using the new purely pink masque is enough and if i wanted to change it then i could use the pink masque aswell as the technail color kit to tweek things.x

Thanks - I was thinking of ordering the purely pink so it`s good to know you think it`s a lovely colour.

I will give your CB recipe a wee go in the meantime though!

Will let you know how it turns out cheers :)
