This is a post we did recently on social media regarding cleansing kits
Do you send your clients away with a complimentary aftercare kit?
If you do not then please consider providing this kit (and of course incorporate into your full set price). If we want our clients to keep their lashes clean then really we should provide them with what they need.
Also how nice is it as a client to get a free kit, it will make them feel that your service is very professional, especially if they have had lashes elsewhere and never received an aftercare kit.
Sadly we still see many recommending their clients to clean their lashes with baby shampoo, NOOOOOOO!!!! Instead we MUST only use designated lash cleansers (for insurance/health and safety reasons as well as lash retention and bacterial cleansing properties).
We also see other artists making up their own home brewed lash shampoos, again it's a no for legal reasons. Instead you must recommend or use designated lash shampoos that have been designed for lashes and are also safe (ie have been developed in labs, tested, have the correct safety certificates etc)
We pop a lash cleanser sachet, foamer bottle, cleanser brush, mascara wands and aftercare sheet into their aftercare kits - so all they need to keep lashes squeaky clean and have no excuse to come back with dirty lashes.
We then have these items for retail on the reception desk when our clients return and need a top up.
If you are looking for great aftercare products as well as our best selling lash cleanser sachets then check us out.
