i think i might give it a go! iv heard everyone saying it is good. do you retail it to? my clients are keen on the nurture oil and it does sell.

i luuurv solar oil and i dont just use it on my nails,i always carry some with me and apply it to any dry patches of skin i have.To me its a miracle cure and cant live without it.Plus a little goes a vvveeeerrryyy long way.:)

I can´t remember a client leaving my clinic and not having a Solar oil in the bag, i comes i 5 diffrent sizes, so the may start out with a small one but they will be back to buy a bigger one, most of mine due :)

i think we all have our preferences and tend to go with who are main nail distributer is.

however some people pick and choose from the best of them - so go with what you think and if it aint broken why fix it as they say!!!!

I love Solar Oil. Smells great and it does what it's supposed to do. What more can you ask for? :)

Ive used both and both are good im using nsi at the moment as ive just started using balance gel i love the bottle the colour and the smell good quality ingredients works well and my clients love it too.

I love solar oil. I'm not keen on the smell, but thats because I dont like almonds or marzipan. My clients love it though, one even said it smells of cake!! (battenberg I assume!).

It is fantastic stuff though. I've used it for:

1) When I used to disrespect my nails, I'd bite and pick my enhancements until one day my nails were in such bad condition I was worried that they werent strong enough to enhance. I applied a set of short ones and used my S.O religiously. When I soaked those enhancements of a few weeks later my nails underneath were amazing. Ok, not tip top, but you could really tell that the S.O had penetrated through the enhancement and condtioned my nails underneath

2) I dropped some hot fat on my foot whilst cooking, and used solar oil to help it heal which worked a treat.

3) I've used it instead of hair serum when I ran out! (use sparingly though)

I have a client at the moment who's suffering terribly with weak brittle nails caused by her medication. She's having a rest from enhancements as she's been told her medication will settle down and her nails will improve again, so in the meantime she's using solar oil and she's said its making a definite difference.
When I have a client "in the seat", when it gets to that part of the service to apply solar oil, I tell them what it is, what its for, and explain how it lengthens the life of the enhancement, conditions the natural nails and skin etc etc. I sell a bottle of solar oil to every new client without exception!

I recommend it highly (as you can see!)

Solar oil all the way !!!!!

how much do you charge for it at retail?

Nuture oil for me....:)

Solar Oil or Nuture Oil ... they're both excellent and both smell dreamy.

I've used both Solar oil and Nuture oil.
I prefer the Nuture oil simply because I find the smell of Solar oil a bit strong.(I am not a huge fan of almond and this is what it reminds me of)
To be honest I haven't found much difference in quality in either of the brands, both work as well as each other IMO.
xx:hug:xx

Am loving the solar oil but i'm with Chelle on the smell. I can't bear almonds at all but I just rub it in until the smell is gone. The smell seems to disappear all of a sudden when it has been absorbed into the skin.

nuture oil smells divine hate almonds and the smell puts me off. but my daughter loves it she uses it all the time. And her nails are lovely for a 12 yr old. And as purple is me fave colour has to nuture oil for me!!!.
