I have had Silhouette Dermalift in the salon for 4 months and have carried out 5 course treatments of 6 and 10 treatments. What are fellow geekers experiences and client feedbacks? Mine haven't been very positive

Hi

I've never personal used Dermalift is that the micrcocurrent based device?

What sort of feedback are you getting?

Thanks
Mel

Yes it is microcurrent. Clients are not really noticing any difference and if they are then very slight.

We've had good results with ours but have just bought a Caci x

Why did you buy Caci if you had good results with Dermalift?

It sounded as if I was being sarcastic Squidgernetball, not the case at all....just interested to know why you changed to Caci.

I used to use a Dermalift years ago in a salon I worked at, I loved it. Problem, sometimes, is peoples expectations. Lets be blunt, if you have a face like a butchers block no amount of muscle toning is going to see a massive face changing effect. However, there are clients who do benefit, it is just a case of targeting those you can help and then those who would benefit slightly, but are probably at the surgery end of the anti-ageing spectrum. For microcurrent, I genenerally only use on clients with a slight to moderate muscle tone problem, after that I'd recommend radio frequency (which again is only suited to moderate sagging). I think we sometimes don't want to say "No this won't help you", because we've invested so much in a machine. Saying that though I have incredibly loyal clients who genuinely trust what I say and realise when I say "Not for you" it's not for them and they respect your opinion more for it, and will use you as first port of call for everything else. As far as CACI goes, they are GREAT machines...with GREAT marketing and that is the key factor. People actively seek out CACI, LVL, HD Brows and the like because it is a name they know, and it makes your marketing so much easier, because these brands put so much leg work in for you.

I was trying to think why to be honest.

I have many treatments and products in my salon. I truly believe I have the best of the best. When you know it's fantastic and where you want it to be, you don't even look at what else is out there.

I don't look at any other make up range and I don't look at any other skincare range, but although I have had good results with my dermalift, I kept looking at what else was out there and kept coming back to Caci. It was a few chance comments that made me look and look again. My salon is busy. We're specialising in skincare and have a lot of referrals. There is still a lot we don't do, and I think Caci will help to fill that gap.

If money had been no problem several years ago, I may have taken on Caci then, but I took on a silhouette and have had a few great years using it, but now is the time for us to move over to a Caci.

If I was a smaller salon or a home salon, I would probably continue really happily with Silhouette, but @AndyRH has hit the nail on the head - the marketing with Caci really is superb, as are the results!

If anyone wants to buy a dermalift......lol

Thanks for your honest reply. I've only had my salon for 15 months so couldn't afford CACI to be honest. I've got the Silhouette rep coming out to me soon so hopefully any concerns I have will be sorted then.
