Hi all, i am new to this and this is my first post.
I am currently doing some Dermalogica training for work in Derby iv already done the training on the retail products and the face mapping and next week ill be doing the professional products and the facial treatment then it will be the extras after sometime like age smart, medibac etc.
Has anyone else done this training? what did you think and do you have any advice or tips? thanx

Hiya.
Yeah, ive done lots of training with dermalogica, i find all their classes great and you always learn something new. all the classes on offer are worth doing, you build your knowledge as a skin therapist and get to meet other therapists doing the same treatments with the same products, which is great as you can share ideas and get new ideas. also you get to kinda 'troubleshoot' with any queries you have with the dermalogica products and techniques.
well worth doing all classes :)

Hi

I'm due to do some Dermalogica training at college next week (21st). Can't wait! studying facials at the moment so will be of use to me me thinks.

Our training has been reduced from all day to just half a day though! Gutted!

Let me know how you get on!

I am at Dermalogica next Weds/Thursday for training. Maybe we will be in the same class.

My advice would be take some money for the shop !! lol you can buy all the products there at student rate so thats a bonus :)

The training is fab, I wasn't very keen on the derby centre although its moved since I last went but the leatherhead centre is fantastic if it was a bit closer id go there for all my training :green:

I wanted to do some classes this month but they are pretty much all booked up:cry:

Yeh i was at the new derby centre it seemed alright yeh when me and my boss was trying to get on these courses it was a nightmare they were always booked up! after this training it will just be the half days i think so maybe they will be easier to get on i hope! :)

Dermalogica are coming to college so training will be done there.

Was told they will be going through face mapping and products etc and get a certificate at the end which is a nice addition!

that sounds better than when i did it at college but it was 4 years ago

I have done several training classes with dermalogica. The product knowledge classes for retail and professional i found it quite hard to take in at the time as they were bombarding you with all this information. As it is all very technical.
I did 4 days in a row.
But after the theory we did practical and it put everything together and made it a lot simpler to understand. The lecturers were very good and were able to solve any problems we were having using the products.
As the classes are free, you can go back again (if you have any spare time) and take the class again if you feel you missed anything. I thought their training was excellent.
You will receive a bonus card, and you are provided with points for each class you take. These will be redeemable at their shop.
