Ok i want to see how many fans of this brand there are please,so love it or hate it?

Thanks in advance

love, love, loveeee!

love, love, loveeee!
I take it your a fan:lol:......Im considering switching to this brand as my skin is feeling very irritated and uncomfortable,am eyeing up the ultracalming cleanser and skin smoothing cream

I used to be a fan, but now I consider it too harsh for my maturing skin!

This is what we use at college, I like it, but i have never tried anything else!

One thing that does bother me is how freely it is available to purchase on the net!

I think it is a great range of products, backed up with excellent product support and training as part of your account. Its a premium product at a premium price with premium profits.

However as Gemma points out, it is all too easily available to purchase on the internet at discounted prices - particularly from distributors in Jersey (no VAT to charge). I'd love to take it on one day, but the problem I have is that a client comes for a treatment, I recommend some home use products, maybe they buy some. Then they go home and have a look at prices on the Internet and never buy off me again.

I know several therapists who exclusively use Dermalogica who are now considering moving to another company for this very reason, they have noticed a decline in sales.

:green:Adore it but am to pissed of its so cheap online xx

Im actually glad its available so easily online etc as i suffer from body dismorphic disorder and have a fear of mirrors so i cant visit salons!!....(i am a qualified therapist before any of you get excited and start abusing me for posting here);)

LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE ITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT :green::green::green:

Hi I have not used it in the work sense but I like it more than hate it. They are good products with excellent training.

It is a problem that the market is saturated but it can also mean that clients may rather choose it over a lesser known brand as it is so well known and feel confidence in it. Products and companies do have a life cycle and I think this is one of the most potentially negative aspects about it and I wonder if its popularity will eventually decline.

You need to try the new Age Smart range from Dermalogica, its fab ( like all the rest of the range:))

I'm about to start using (on myself as well as my clients) SwissDermyl. I decided against a brand that could be bought any- and everywhere simply because I'm not in a high street so am unlikely to get passing trade based on the name. Also I was very keen to not just be a brand vehicle; why would a client come to me for a Dermalogica facial when the world and his dog stocks it! Interestingly the two other local-ish salons stock Dr Hauschka and Comfort Zone for that same reason - who'da thunk it!

my salon is derm ALL THE WAY!!!! they are so great with their support, education and products,
every product works sooooooo well, and does exactly what its supposed to do!!!!
making your job easier, my clients are so enthusiastic after one treatment!!!
it sells itself!!!!!!
xxxx

Love It! Love It! Love It!

I've actually just taken over a salon and discontinued Dermalogica and switched to Decleor.

There's a town not that far from me that has 5 Dermalogica salons in the same road. What's so special about the brand then?

To me and others I know, it's too clinical, the facials aren't anything special, products are 'ok' and the packaging is boring.

Decleor facials are fantastic. A back massage at the beginning of every facial to show the areas of congestion (I was sceptical before but it really does work) - this diagnoses your skin type, not what the client tells you as they are often wrong, 4 different anti-aging rages, not harsh for the skin and provide instant results, BEAUTIFUL packaging, the products do as the say and feel luxurious on your skin and provide outstanding results, and Decleor don't let another salon within a certain radius of another.

I had two girls in my salon, all they knew and loved was Dermalogica. And they admit this was only because they used it at college and didn't know anything else. They LOVE the Decleor products now and have put Dermalogica to the side.

I suppose I could have introduced any product and they'd have felt the same, but the point is that there are others out there. Phone a few up and see if they'll send you a sample pack.
