Yeah ... I don't really know what this was response to ? LolThe million dollar facial DOES NOT include an enzyme peel. You can include an enzyme peel when performing dermaplaning as a stand alone treatment. An enzyme peel shouldn't be confused with a chemical peel, both very different.
I trained with million dollar facial. I've read dome people think it's a peel as well but it isn't they just advise you to use an enzyme peel exfoliant as part of the treatment. Then it's derma planing using a blade to removed dead skin cells and peach fuzz in turn making the skin 80 percent more receptive to the creams and serums used for home are and within the facial. Then you go into microneedling where you can add a mesotherapy cocktail of specialised serums to again penetrate the skin at an increased rate due to the tiny punctures made to the skin generating more collagen and elastin.. Amazing for hair growth. Stretch marks. Scarring. So the treatment you can use on the body effectively as well. Finish up with a hylauranic mask.
I found the training a little daunting I would have liked it to be longer to gain more experience part of a facial. You are holding a surgical blade at the end of the day a bit nerve racking.. Also it is quite a lot for insurance and you have to get rid of your microneedling rollers with a company to collect as it is normal for blood to be present during the treatment. Certain things that weren't mentioned in great detail on the course. However I'm part of the group online and I can't take away from the fact it is fab facial and highly results driven the before and after pictures are insane!!
It was in response to a member saying the MDF includes an enzyme peel. MDF doesn't. Stand alone dermaplaning does xYeah ... I don't really know what this was response to ? Lol
What do you mean by it makes the skin 80% more receptive to creams?
How does that work?

Dermaplaning is an exfoliant, which rids the skin of dead skin cells, which form a barrier when applying products. Once these dead skin cells have been removed creams etc, can penetrate deeper into the dermal layer. When used in conjunction with an enzyme peel, absorption of active ingredients is increased further.
Of course. I’ll message you via Salon Geek x
