Hiya, I have recently become qualified in dermaplaning and facials, in my dermaplaning course they told me to use surgical spirit to wipe over the face before starting the dermaplaning.

I have found that this is really drying for the face and I’m not sure if this is something I want to use, is this a necessary step in the treatment or is this something I can leave out?

Thanks in advance,

Elle

Hi, did you complete this course online?
It sounds like some information I have been given. I personally wouldn’t use it to cleanse skin before anything. I’ve been lead to believe we should be double cleansing before dermaplaning.

I would also like to know this. I was trained to use a alcohol wipe on the face before. I’ve not started doing this treatment on clients yet. I’m currently looking to see what products I can use within my dermaplaning facial. Any advice would be great? Xxx

Thank you all so much for you’re help!
