Yeah - i know this gets asked all the time! But, now qualified; I have my first actual client with diabetes. She also suffers with High BP and is on medictaion for this.
She has requested a full manicure. Can anyone tell me what the basics are that i should / definately shouldnt do in the manicure given the above medical issues?

Or would you say I should get consent from her GP first? She has said she's had her nails done before, normally has extensions but now she has grown her own nails she wants manicures instead...

My best friend is diabetic and I just follow normal manicuring procedures. I always follow my manicures with a great hand massage.

As long as you don't knick or nip the skin and draw blood, you should be fine. HTH! :)

hi, thanks for the advice.
I normally include a hand scrub but do you think it would be best to leave that out?

A hand scrub shouldnt cause you any issues. Dont treat them any differently. Just act with caution.
