Difference between rhinestones and nail art flat stones?

Hi All

Can anyone tell me what the difference is between nail art flat stones and rhinestones??? I need to know as I need to show I can use both for my nails NVQ in the nail art bit!!

Have you googled them ?

I would think rhinestines are sparkling and are slightly raised, where the flat ones can be any colour not necessarily sparkly and are flat

I am sure if you go to some nail art sites you will see pics and be able to tell the difference, the flat ones would be easier to encapsulate in nail art.
