Hi geeks,
I wonder if there is a big difference in non surgical face lift machines? The prices are so different. I am thinking of buying one for ages now, but just can't make my mind up. Does the treatment really work? My mum had a session of 12 treatments and thought it did nothing for her. I am afraid to buy an expensive machine which gets no results. Which brand is known to be the best? Are the chipper ones much less effective or do they all do the same? Please help me, I know there are much information on that one, but I am still confused and not convinced it is a money maker machine.
What do you think?

Hi hun i use Body ultimate and with their new lift plus treatment you can get away with less treatments in a quicker time all my clients are very happy and have top - ups every 3 - 4 weeks to maintain x

I use the CACI Ultra (having previously used the CACI Quantum) & to be honest it's far better than the other micro-current machines I had tried in the past (including the Stay Young). CACI as far as I'm concerned are the original & the best, with over 20 years of medical research behind it & a medical patent on its waveform technology.

Of further interest, when I look at my reports for my website the largest number of hits come from people looking for CACI, not for micro-current treatment, and that's because the name is synonymous with the treatment, far more so than any other brand. Indeed, even Dr Perricone has recently recommended the CACI Ultra:

"As a dermatologist brand, we not only look for new ways to improve the skin, we also look at the importance of maintaining underlying musculature and bone structure to preserve youthful contours and smooth skin. The Ultra is unrivaled when it comes to maintaining a lifted, firm and toned face and neck".

- Dr. Nicholas Perricone MD

As to it making money, well like any treatment it can generate a lot of money, but only if marketted properly. I bought mine on hire-purchase (I'm paying for it over 3 years) & even after the monthly payment I am still making a profit.

Thank you for your replies. Yes, Caci is a very well known brand, but it costs a lot. There is one on sale in Dublin, it is 3 months old and she is looking for something around 10 grand for it. But I need training and would much rather go with brand new one. There is another one by Silhouette, it is a good unit also, and it is much chipper, it is a tricky one.

That's more than mine cost new!! Seriously, you're better off contacting CACI direct & finding out about new prices, especially if you only want the micro-lift part (they have a range of machines with different functions). Buying it over 3 years on a hire-purchase scheme also makes more sense business wise.

As to cheaper machines, there's often a reason why these things are cheap - you need only look at the cheap faradic machines!

Thanks Martin,
You are always so helpful:green:. The price is in Euro, she said she paid 15 grand for a new one. I will contact the head office in Dublin. The unit you have sounds fantastic. I should get the rep over and let them tell me all about it. Thanks again:hug:

That's OK! Definitely the best way to go about it, plus if you buy it over 1 to 5 years it also includes warranty for repairs for that period of time (not that any CACI I've ever used has needed it though!). I have the CACI Ultra, which is micro-current, red/blue light & ultrasound. They also have other machines, like the Quantum (micro-current & body toning/lymph drainage), the Ultimate (micro-current & microdermabrasion) & the standard micro-current only model.

Hi, I spoke to a guy on the CACI stand at the show about renting a machine and for their top one it worked out at only £15 a day bargain! They rang me a couple of days after with a demo machine that was even cheaper!!!
They definatley are the ones to go with
xx

Thanks guys,
I just red a bit about CACI Ultra on Martin's web site. Goh, sounds too good to be true. Does it really work on acne, if it does why only on the back, I would think the skin is the same every where:rolleyes:. Does it really work on stratch marks and scars:eek:? I thought it was only possible with IPL
:hug::hug::hug:

It does also work on acne on the back (it's on the facial CACI page under the Healing treatment); it uses blue light to kill the acne bacteria (you can search on blue light in acne treatment), along with microcurrent to help skin healing & ultrasound to encourage the removal of dead skin cells that exacerbate blocked pores, but unlike microdermabrasion it isn't aggressive on what is often quite sensitive skin. I've had very good results with this, and have combined glycoloic acid peels with ultrasound for deeper penetration, which has also given good results (see sonophoresis research). With stretch marks it only helps with those that are already pink, and with scarring it helps reduce them, but is less successful on older scars. Hope that helps.

If you have any questions, contact CACI direct & they'll normally send you medical papers concerning these things; well they always have when I've asked!

Thanks Martin. I contact them today and they are going to send me the info pack. Unfortunately they don't have their sale rep in here, and i will have to go to London for their training.

Martin, just a quick few questions for you? Are your clients happy with the results? Can you see a face lift like results? Are they coming back to maintain the results? Thanks:hug:

I've never had anyone unhappy with the results - but I never promise miracles (obviously it can't get rid of excess sagging skin or remove wrinkles) & I take before & after pictures. I think by keeping expectations realistic the clients are often more impressed, especially when it rids them of their hooded eyelids etc. I've never had a single person who hasn't continued the monthly maintanance treatments following the course.

Thank you, I'm going to buy CACI. It looks like it is a really good machine to invest. they just have to find someone to train me in Ireland. Can't wait!:)

Let us know which machine you go for, and I hope it all goes well for you. I know I wouldn't be without it!

\I think I'll go for the same you have Martin. I'm not 100% sure yet. But just as with yourself, body treatments are not so popular with my clients. So I'll use it mostly for face.
Thank you for your help.
By the way they should pay you some commission , because you were the one who sold it to me:green:

I definitely think the Ultra was the right choice for me; we have a local microdermabrasion place & to be honest I'm not keen on offering it myself, so thought the ultrasound a better bet than the Ultimate. As for the Quantum, in my experience people will also more readily spend money on their face than their body!

Just think what the commission must be on a CACI machine...if only!

Bio Ultimate Platinum by Belle Sante is just as effective as CACI,indeed the founders of both worked along side each other before they parted and created their own machines, this was over 30 yrs ago.Thomas Wing(Caci) and James Suzuki(Bell Sante) worked together and created the ultimate in anti ageing technology

We use Belle Sante in our salon and have fab results.I think Bio Gold now Platinum is cheaper than Caci though Im not sure.A course of 6 to 12 treatments is recommended at £40.00 each. The machine has many treatments including acne, lymph, breast to name a few.HTH

Thanks a lot for that. I'll have a look at it. Cheers

I use icon ultralift, and have used caci in the past too (so can compare treatment/results and customer service) which is also fab with both companies / machines! There are so many to choose from but results is what your clients want, I would definately look at as many companies as possible. You should definately have demos from as many machines as poss so you can compare results and prices. I know with my icon i received in salon training which was a great help for me. xx
