Hi

I did a day waxing course last week and got a hara warm waxing kit to take home, On the day I mainly used Tea tree cream wax and a bit of the honey wax, in my kit I got the honey wax. I waxed a friend's legs at the weekend and found it really hard to do took ages and missing patches, maybe I was just nervous and the hairs were quite short. I did the fornt of my legs as well and again there seems a fair bit of hair that didn't come out. I thought the different types of wax were more for different types of skin types but do you also find that they work differently? Would it be worth me getting another wax pot to put cream wax in?

Thanks

Helen

I think it was just nerves so don't worry as I'm sure you'll be waxing like a pro in no time. It shouldn't really matter which type of wax you use but try to apply it as thinly as possible. Hold your spatula on the body like a knife and as you start to spread the wax, tilt the spatula backwards (not forwards) and this will give you a lovely thin coat of wax.

Be methodical when you wax. Don't apply and remove randomly. Cover the entire area and remove in a quick and uniform pattern from the bottom upwards.

It may seem like you'll never get it but I promise you that you will.

WAX ON ! xxx

Thanks for that.

I'm due to get waxed tomorrow, so hopefulyl will get to try again on my legs tonight and save some money by just getting my underarms waxed, or has anyone done that themselves?

Thanks

Helen

My waxer has cancelled my appointment for today as she's off ill, not too major as I did my legs, kinda, myself last night, I also though I'd have ago at mu bikini line as I've never had that waxed before and my only 2 experineces of it was in my training last week and mu husband letting me do on strip of wax on his, he looked like it was agony so I was very nervous doing it on myself, 20 minutes later I have no hair at all on the top!! Wasn't that phased doing it to myself, am now quite tempted to go for a hollywood although I guess that having the 'undercarriage' done is going to be a lot more painful than what I did last night!

Also any tips for cleaning the heater? I discovered that somehow loads of wax got onto the outside of the pan and so is between the heater and the pan and smokes when I turn it on.

Thanks

Helen
