I saw this kick @ss nail table that had a uv drying light built into the front of it. I swear i'm in heaven its beautiful and cheap. I felt like angels were singing when i saw it. but then i got to thinking....does a uv dry table affect uv gels?? thanks!

u.v doesnt dry.
u.v light will cure gels.

Any UV source will cure UV gels .. neither do I see any point in a UV drying area as polish is not dried with UV light unless it is a UV dry polish. It doesn't sound very exciting to me.

I think the clue is in the question. A UV drying table is used by salons who finish their L&P nails with a layer of UV gel instead of buffing. It's not used for drying polish as it doesn't do that.

well I know as well as you do drying tables are dumb, but we have one in the salon i work at. I think they serve more to keep the client still. We dont use uv top coats, we use UV resistant top coats so the polish doesn't turn in the tanning bed. But if i do a set of UV cured gels, and then my boss insist that the client go under this light will it over cure them? i work for vietnamese...they are kind of set in their ways...
