Do you tell clients when you start using a different brand/product?

About as far South as you can get!
I only ask because I use Hive creme wax and have been using the tea tree one but have some new Lemon Zest and ordinary to use before going on to try PR and Berins, so would you tell your client you're using something different even if it's the same brand but different type?

Then once you have switched, would you tell them this also?

May seem like an obvious question and personally I would, but thought I'd ask anyway :)

I would tell them, but tell the reasons why! - Its much better...

Thanks Gemma :)

I will tell them why also :green:

Thank you. xx

I would and I did... whenever I changed a product, it was because I liked it more and thought the service would be better. So I think clients like to hear that, because they feel better, it shows that you care and want to make things better for them. And if it's for the same price... hu hu! :green:
And if they don't like the new product, and you told them you'll be using something new, they will let you know, they will not feel like you're messing with the quality and you'll have the feedback you need.

Thanks hun, I'll keep that in mind. Good idea about the feedback too :)

I tell them to get them as excited as I am! Clients love something new!

Me too and my clients usually like the new product.

Well...I was going to say that I wouldn't tell them unless the quality of the treatment was affected. Now I've read all your comments I've changed my mind...So yes I would definitely tel them and the reason why!!

It is a must, you have to tell them. Do it in a way that they feel that it is because you always want to improve the quality of your treatment! when they feel thatyou care for them, they wil be very flattered!

And hopefully come back, bring a friend and spend more money, lol!

But no, it's true, very true. It's lovely when you think someone is actually thinking about you  and you're more likely to go back.

Thanks everyone. xx
