Do you think I've priced my pamper parties too low?

lol ..

have been doing some research on the net to get some idea for pricing for kids pamper parties .. was thinking £70 for 5 girls including pampering treatments, keepsake fashion accessories and themed lucky dip prizes for all .. then i came across this, lol

tantrum - parties party hamleys girls london pamper exclusive unique

£750 for a kids pamper party, and £4,500 for a sleepover .. cheap at the price!

haha the scary thing is some parents will pay this!! I heard on the news the other day 2 parents were trying to get their son a helicopter to his leavers dance (he was only about ten!!) but the school refused lol! x

have you looked at prices in your actual area? when deciding on a price don't just go with what everybody else charges, make sure that your price covers all your costs from the products down to the wear and tare and petrol of your car if you are travelling to the client(s) and don't forget about what you think your experience/time is worth.

if i had the money to throw big expensive parties like that then i certainly would, without a doubt! kids are only kids once so why not give them everything you possibly can and to let them experience everything they possibly can? but in my non millionaire position it's awful lot of money to spend out haha. x

I would look at what you want to earn per hour, work out the time it takes per girl, and then add on your expenses. This will give you a party price which will work for you. Have a look in your area and see if there are similar parties and go from there.

Those Hamleys prices are out of this world! I love the shop though - it makes me regress back into childhood! :D

It is Hamleys darling lol! very expensive.... but then again... i charge £10 per child for... nail art, glittery eyeshadow and lip gloss and tattoos. At £750 for 10 children Hamleys are under cutting me lol, AND they offer a photo shoot!!

thanks everyone who has replied with advice about pricing, its hard to work out so that make a decent enough profit !

i plan to use premium products such as jane iredale mineral makeup, opi nail polishes etc and will reflect this in the price
