Hi there, does anyone use the ESPA body and facial products at all? If so, what do you think of them, what treatments do you do and where do you buy your products from? Happy New Year to you all by the way!

ESPA products are amazing! ESPA is as much about attitude, lifestyle, and settings as they are product. I have been fortunate enough to visit many ESPA Spa's - my bf has visited their UK flagship Spa at Gleneagles.

I think ESPA are very particular about who they sell to - I think it is a case of being a very expensive department store (Harvey Nicks) or a multi treatment-room Spa. I know some Gym based spa / salons use them.

AFAIK you can only get ESPA products direct from them as an approved distributor / spa so you need to talk to them directly.

I used to use Espa when I worked in a hotel and they are fantastic products which give good results and are 98-100% natural products, which cant be said for many products these days!! So if you like your natural products thats a bonus. There training is also very good and in depth. The only criticism I had with them is when I first started working with them the smell was very strong and somtimes left me with a headache! xx

This is interesting  I work for a large hotel chain and about 2mths ago I was asked to transfer to one of their other hotels for a couple of weeks to cover staff sickness, and the spa used ESPA instead of Elemis which I am used to.

I hated the products! I just couldn't get the damn mineral mask off, it was all sticky and clumpy  and the body oils were a nightmare to massage with. They kept going all tacky and I couldn't keep enough slip going

I found the packaging to be very noisy as well with all the glass jars to open and close, but maybe that might be a bit overcritical  It would look absolutely gorgeous on a bathroom shelf though!

Obviously training in the proper techniques would of helped me a LOT... but I just kept imagining clients trying to get the mask off at home, scrubbing away... lol.

The treatments seemed lovely though, unfortunately I didn't get to try any out myself!:cry:

(Don't shoot me!)

I use ESPA at home, love them!

The ESPA Shave Mud is amazing too!

You can buy retail products, I believe that is what the poster was referring to.

That's what I assumed too.
