Carrying on from many many many posts, there seems to be a problem or insecurity with doing male clients, sure some are nice, but obviously as a sex in general, they are "NOT TO BE TRUSTED".

I feel the best advice is to not do men at all, they are filthy creatures, but handy when the paypacket comes in.

Men are often seen as troublesome (so that must mean our husbands as well), it sound dirty and makes us look gullible, but surely judging by the posts in here they are all the same.

Rather than future issues/future complaints , I think it's better than no female perform any service on them (after all they are just perverts that get hardons without even dropping your hat).

Perhaps we should all band together and leave them to their own devices, let them grow hair, let them want a massage (yet not deliver), let them desire a hand massage (yet not do it).

They are just gonna get a stiffy anyways, let those male perverts look at our services with lust ...... obviously they are all the same.

Obviously we are all insecure, let the men eat cake .........

IT HAS BEEN PRONOUNCED !!!!!!

LET THERE NEVER BE ANOTHER COMPLAINT AGAINST MEN, LET THERE NEVER BE ANOTHER SERVICE DONE TO MEN .....WE HAVE ALL BEEN WARNED.

I STAND BY YOU GIRLS, JUST IGNORE THEM, THEN THERE WILL NEVER BE ANY NEED TO COMPLAIN IN THE FUTURE.

BAN THE MAN
Let em do each other, get rid of them, ignore them, let them grow hairy, let their muscles grow into knots, let them be pale, men are nothing but trouble, all they want to do is use us girls as sexual objects,

they don't want massage/relaxation (they want sex),(no matter what you look like) (but perhaps your husband is different) ????? what makes them different from any other man that you generalise about ?

they don't want to be hairless {they just want sex},(no matter what you look like)(but perhaps your husband is different) ????? what makes them different from any other man that you generalise about ?

they don't want a tan, they just want sex (no matter what you look like)
(but perhaps your husband is different) ????? what makes them different from any other man that you generalise about ?
they don't want nice nails [they just want sex] (no matter what you look like)(but perhaps your husband is different) ????? what makes them different from any other man that you generalise about ?
all they want is sex, sex and more sex.(no matter what you look like), (but perhaps your husband is different) ????? what makes them different from any other man that you generalise about ?

from this day forth anyone that offers a service to men is obviously asking for trouble, leave the men alone, don't do them, they are nothing but trouble, they get erections just at the thought of a manicure, they get aroused just by looking at a pricelist, they ignore the sanctimony of marriage as soon as they have a knot in a muscle, they outgrow their pants at the thought of being tanned, they should be ignored, they do not have the right to any of our services.

If you do choose to do men, you should have a certified companion/a prison guard in the room along with some pepper spray, a cattle prod and a taser gun.

LET'S GET RID OF THOSE NASTY MEN ONCE AND FOR ALL.
Then we can put a rest to any sexist posts regarding men.

GIRLPOWER ALL THE WAY

It's obvious men just want sex with anyone/anything and they are such high risk customers, lets get rid of them altogether.

GIRLPOWER ALL THE WAY, I"M ON YOUR SIDE ......

BAN THE MAN

maybe there are women that think otherwise, but I never stopped to think of that, I was too busy thinking of rapists, robbers and child molesters, after all, they are just men and all men are the same.

Despite normally really appreciating your advice Nailzoo I will give this piece a wide berth!!!!

I will CONTINUE to treat EVERY client with the utmost courtesy and superb customer service whilst taking every precaution for my own personal safety whether my client be Male or Female.

I live with 4 men if you include the dog so I know exactly what men are like!

then you will know that some posts about men are ridiculous generalisations:), perhaps men should be like dogs (if we cut their balls off we can trust them more):)

Which is why I rarely comment...........brick wall and all that:)

Everyone is entitled to their opinion though even if I personally disagree :)

Bloody fantastic, nuff said...x

I know you have posted with tongue in cheek, Carl, 'cos not all men are the same and we only hear about the bad ones. There are some really nice men out there as other geeks will testify. You're a naughty boy, but so nice with it!:lol::lol:

ohh we are only human after all ,there are a lot of really nice men out there and yes we only hear about the bad ones but they are not really doing anything wrong apart from what comes natural...with embarrasment afterwards, i re-call after massaging men during training and now the only moans i heard were that you hit ,pardon the pun ..."the right spot" but always behaved themselves ,i even moan when i get a massage ,i know nailzoo always posts in humour\tongue in cheek .but i know what he is saying and his views..and i totally "get it"..when we think on it we have males that treat us women for example doctors, nurses, male midwives and we do have male massage\beauty therapists. i have moaned when treated by a man but only because i was relaxed and he did wonders for my aching back muscles .. on a humour note it's like saying a male gynecologist is like an auto mechanic who has never owned a car!

Yeah your spot on. It annoys me the amount of threads I read that are just based on pure gullability! I have treated hundreds of men, facials, intimate waxing, massage and tanning and not once been or felt threatened!

Its not luck its making your business and yourself appear as the professional service that it is.

Think many agree Men get erections, not being prude but my partner gets them for no apparent reason and at least 4 an hour! He hates it as he has to adjust accordingly and hope no one notices and think he is a perv! My 8 month old son also gets them from time to time and he has no sexual awareness!

Women get hard nipples, Men get hard ...... !

It infuriates me when you hear someone moan that a man made himself a tent during a massage. Take it as a compliment, Hes happy and relaxed, it does not mean he wants to rip your clothes off, throw you on the floor and show you the time of your life! I have had a lot of Gay men too exoerience this body function and I hardly think they find me sexually attractive - That is unless I look like a man, or maybe they just appreciate the female form!

You will experience the odd perv but there few and far between. Albeit Men are more full of sexual tension due to the levels of testosterone.

I think its disgusting that no one trusts men anymore. I have had two experiences in my life that involved men doing what they shouldnt, so I more than anyone should be wary but I'm not, I treat men no differently to the rest of my clientele.

And if a man tried anything again, rather than reeling in horror I would punch him full on in the nuts!

I am more powerful than them as they are the one near naked on my couch! I am in control, once you lose control or put yourself in a situation thats dangerous then you are at risk.

Its strange though the many amount of perverts and weirdos therapists on this site attract! I only ever had one weird phonecall, maybe I had more but thyink my professionalism made them think twice.

If you dont have control or feel out your depth then I agree dont treat them!

My partner loves spa days but even hes put off now reading how therapists are at such a silly little thing like that especially how he is.

It often makes me wonder how some people on here actually prorecreate as they seem so appalled at nature lol!!!!

But then the british were and always will be a prudish country.

Oh Kate, i'm on your side  this made my night, thankyou.......

I only ever had a real problem with two male clients. One came in and asked me if I was the massage therapist. I told him no, we didn't have a massage therapist, but that we offered body scrubs. He said, "Do you do them?" I said, "Me, personally? Yes." He said, "Well, I'd like to get one from you." I said, "That's fine, I can do that for you right now."

I brought him to the room and told him, "I'll need you to strip down to your shorts and get under the blankets, lying face down. I'll be back in 10 minutes with the towels and scrub and we can start." He said, "Oh, I don't want to wear shorts." I replied with, "I'm sorry, you have to wear shorts." He said, "I'm not wearing any today." I said, "That's fine, we have disposable shorts in the drawer." He kept pushing me, "Well, I just don't feel comfortable wearing them." I said, "And I don't feel comfortable being alone in a room with you NOT wearing them. You'll wear them or you'll have to get the service elsewhere." He said "Okay," and I left the room.

When I returned, he was laying on top of the covers on his back, wearing a washcloth over his junk. I had just started at this job and didn't want to make a scene, so I got a new blanket and covered him with it and told him, "Turn over on your stomach." I started the scrub on his back. I'm short and the table we use is relatively high. It's a massage table with a place to put your face. He propped his head up with his chin resting on the neck rest, so his face was level with my breasts. I thought, "Oh Christ, what did I get myself into?"

I rushed through the back, and started doing his legs. While I'm doing his legs, he's moaning and grinding his pelvis against the table. That's when I stopped. I said, "I'm sorry, I can't do this. You're making me really uncomfortable. You need to leave."

I walked to the door to leave and he says, "But Miss..." I turned around. He was laying on his side, with his leg propped up, fully exposed. At 18 years old, my first thought was, "OH MY GOD! There's a penis!" So I covered my face with both hands and busted out laughing. He said, "Aren't you going to do the front?"

I laughed so hard, I cried. I managed to say, "No. We don't do 'the front' here. You can take care of your 'front' on your own. Sorry." He paid the full $70 for the service and tipped me $20.

Oh grow up.

Women who work alone (especially mobile therapists) are vulnerable. As such, they do well to realise that a) SOME (not all) men have ulterior motives when booking treatments and should be aware of the signs to look for and b) that SOME (not all) men may possibly show involuntary physical reactions to certain treatments but that this doesnt mean they are perverts. Therapists should feel able to discuss matters such as these on this site with fellow professionals who can offer advice, they can then get out there and offer treatments to all men with confidence knowing that they know how to deal with a potential situation IF (not when) it crops up.

I really hope that people treat this thread with the contempt it deserves as I would hate to think that a member of this site has a burning issue regarding male treatments that she feels unable to discuss now because of this thread.

I have to add to this. Someone is not anti-men if they post a problem they have with a male client. If it was a female client that behaved inappropriately there would also be a problem. I find this post offensive as what obviously triggered it was a post by someone who had a male client behave in a totally inappropriate manner, I don't think if it was a woman who had acted in the same they wouldn't have been just as shocked and scared by the situation. This is just silly. Surely this post is more petty than any concern anyone has ever posted about concerns about a male client. Criticising one man is not criticising all men.

Can I treat gay men?:)
Men are probably more scared of me than I am of them:lol:

PMSL Carl!
I think some people may have taken it the wrong way and a bit too seriously though.....:irked: Shame really

Hiya, newbie here! I read this thread with great interest. This is a forum for therapists and technicians of all levels of experience and there will be some on here that are simply not used to treating men.some therapiats, particularly female, may feel a bit daunted by touching a semi naked man. This is something that, with experience, we all get over but very occasionally, there is the odd pervert and I'd like to think that we can be here to offer support and advice on how to handle/try to prevent situations like that. I'm thinking of a recent post where a poor girl had to deal with a man's bodily fluids. She just wanted some advice on how to deal with this. As far as we know, she could be sexually inexperienced which could make this situation very traumatic for her. No one is saying that men are dirty but we should be here to help, not to criticise. It's just a matter of experience XX

Yeah this is a pro site for pro people THAT THE GENERAL PUBLIC have full access to!

If a man was worried before going to a salon in case he found homself too relaxed then googles it he will come across this site and probably change his mind!

I am sorry but male clients have always made up a huge proportion of my clientele and its deemed to become the biggest growth sector for salons. These silly threads are just putting off honest decent men.

If you follow certain rules and check people are who they say they are you are not vulnerable!

If a man did half the things people moan about on here I would just laugh at him, get his stuff and throw him out! Get over it, Move on, theres nothing gained from having 10 people say 'oh my god how terrible' or 'poor you!'

I want to grow my clientele not alienate them!!!!

I've really thought about this thread before I answered and yes, of course I know that Nailzoo is being sarcastic.

I don't actually think that any of the threads were anti men at all. They were anti, clients who get off on their treatment.

If the client had been female and was obviously having an orgasm during their treatment, then I'm sure the same geeks would have asked for support and advice.

If we cut their balls off, then I'll knock a tenner off and no more. Business is business.
