Well i gave it a try on a friend's brother Mark. (he knew this was my first attempt). It took 4 & a half hours. I should definately have done more of a brick lay pattern on the top & the ends were not as sealed as i thought they would be but i'm working on that.
All in all given that dreads look better as time goes on & the hair knots up more i'm reasonably pleased for a first go & Mark loves them. I'll be doing maintenance once a month so will post you some more pics as they develop.
