:cry:Hi i have my driving test next week and saturday did a mock test, i can't do it and i am getting myself into a right mess, i paid for a double lesson but had to go home after 3/4 of an hour, i ended up in tears and don't know what to do, i know i have to pass my test but i am sooooooo worked up i feel like packing it all in, any advice???????????

Sounds like you need to take a break , then resume when you feel less stressed

My Friend took some of them Calms Tablets before her test as she was the same as you really bad for panicking, the Instructor told her the way she was with her nerves she wouldn't pass as the first sign of an hickup she would panic and lose it. They worked for her and she passed first time.
Give them a try before a lesson and see if they will help you, just keep thinking in your head the world is my oyster I can go anywhere I want once I drive no relying on buses or taxis ect ect I can do this think positive it works.
I bought myself a little run around the week before my test and spent the week polishing her and starting her up and thinking am going to drive you next week, it worked for me 12 lessons later passed and driving and love it its the only freedom I have at the moment even if its just nipping to the shops.
Good Luck Think Positive.

Hey it took me 4 attempts to pass my test, i just thought i was never going to pass, i wanted to give up, but my mum just kept pushing me and i finally passed. Just don't give up and try not to get yourself worked up.

Hi again where I put I can do this think positive it works. it was supposed to say U can do this think positive lol

take some rescue remedy , i took it and -passed , my sis in law took it and passed and so did my nephew , lol
i was awful with nerve and failed 3 times (never took anything , coz didint believe in in , ) but a geek on here told me about RR and it sooo helps xxx

I took 5 tests before I passed. In the last one, I did something half way that I assumed was a fail. It wasn't, but because I thought I'd failed and it didn't count I relaxed. I then drove my best ever and actually came away with a pass. I know it's easier said than done, but if you know the basics just try and relax.

Failing is not the end of the world, you can always take it again. This is not your one and only chance, so try not to let it weigh you down.

Hi,
Don't stress. It took me 4 attempts (and I only went the 4th time 'cause my mum bullied me into and paid).
More importantly, on my 4th test I WRONGLY PUT THE CAR IN REVERSE AT A JUNCTION AND WENT BACK A COUPLE OF INCHES - you know what, the guy made me pull up round the corner, told me what I had done wrong, AND STILL PASSED ME. All I can think is that I kinda laughed it off as I had made a mistake but still proved I could re-control the situation.
Keep at it. Good luck. It's worth it in the end. And just remember if I can shoot backwards at a junction and still pass then its the control of situations that count. After all, its always the other idiots you have to be worried about on a daily basis.
