Not sure if this is chit chat or nail related (or should I blog it)? Forgive me and move it if needed, but it I found it of national/international interest and it may explain a few dubious nail salon questions.

I always wondered how they can afford to have 20 nail spas in a salon, pay the huge rent in big shopping centres, pay their many staff members while they offer super cut price services....

Maybe things are starting to unravel.
And it had to start in Australia.

I do know of similar situations in salons here in the UK but can't really go into details.
Needless to say some NSS aren't exactly what they appear to be.
I wasn't entirely surprised tbh.

I remember a news report last year along the same lines .... I can't remember where!

when i moved to Barrow-in-furness 2 years ago i was checking out the local comp and the only one i could find that was very busy was an nss nail bar on entering the salon not only could i smell all the products that they where using but also a very pungent smell all of its own.... anyway the salon was closed down it also had other outlets in preston, manchester and leeds i believe... the staff where changed weekly all around the other salons... the problem cam to light when a rented house ( buy the owners of this company) had a gas leak reported by a neighbour to the landlords so a rep from the landlord agency went round to investigate and had called the gas company and could get no answer from the people renting the house... on entering the property the landlord rep and gas people where greeted to a totally empty property but with a few modifications.. and i was not gas that they could smell... this place had been used to grow weed .. the people had removed all the plants and the harvest but left enough on the floor to equate to a street value of around £20k if it had been sold so you can imagine what they had removed... silly way to get cought but its true .... you will find it fully documented in the evening mail Cumbria..... how silly are some people?????????

well some got deported and some got Jail.......

glad i live in Cyprus now!!!!!!!!
