Oh wow, that's very cool, I haven't seen one of these before! I'd be interested to hear if anyone has used one before too and what they think. Where did you find it? x

I havn't tried one on my car but have one hanging on a notice board which has salon info or promotions on and ppl can pick up a leaflet to take with them, usually place the board outside local schools, local shops, toddler groups and the local monthly craft fayre (with permission), find it sometimes works well depending on time of year i.e. Proms. hth:lol:

Depends where you park, I can see them getting thrown around followed by a visit from the local council to your salon for a clean up bill.

Good idea though, we just live in a strange world.

I have seen them advertised and personally wouldn't use them. Seems like a lazy way, also I am sure loads will be wasted and you could get billed for the council picking them up from the streets. I also wouldn't want strangers lurking around my car. I would never pick one up from a car with this on as I would think it to be unprofessional and as I said a lazy way to solicit business. Another point is that some car parks will not let you put flyers or business cards on windscreens, how is this different? You are still advertising on private or council property without permission

Hi there - if you read Lynne Barker's now infamous thread re promotions it is an absolute WEALTH of knowledge, tips and ideas. I hope this helps - it certainly helped me!

pS I also had my car signwritten which I think helps.

lol...when I first saw the card I thought it said "geeks on call" !!!!
Great idea but not sure that my car would be a good ad for my business!!!!
xxxx

I think this looks a good idea.

Why not strangers lurking around my car? How many seconds does it take to pick up a business card? I would welcome said stranger for an appointment. How is this any lazier than an entry in Yellow Pages?

Only thing is your car would give off a message about you so if your car is old, dirty or messy inside probably best not to bother lol
