Hi. I am new to Gelish and have been reading a few posts about dry brushing the foundation base after curing. I read somewhere that you can use a dry lint free wipe instead of a brush-has anyone got any experience of this?

Thanks!

Hi I use little hexagonal sponges that you can order from nail harmony much quicker than dry brushing and really effective! Never tried a lint free wipe as would be worried fluff might transfer to nail x

Hi there, I used the lint free wipe technique and have never had problems. I just wipe straight down the nail. As already mentioned you just need to make sure they definitely are lint free or it would be fluff hell! Lol

I use a dry square of good quality kitchen roll x

I just use the Gelish #6 Gel Brush. Does the job well and no fluffies.

(Sorry..didn't realize you wanted an alternative to the brush.. Should have fully read your post. lol)

Thank you for all your advice!

I only dry brush when I do French as it helps keep the line crisper, and I use a cut up waxing strip...works brilliantly and no fluff x
