Hope you can give me some guidance on this problem, I posted the other day that I had purchased a back up hvlp well it arrived today and I am not all that happy I bought it off e-bay as a brand new HVLP550 spray tan machine. HERE IS THE LINK * link removed *

Well when I unwrapped it I was not all that happy. It says on the control panel that it is an Air Bubble Massage Machine, in the photocopied or computer printed instructions it states that it can be used for spray tans. I googled the air bubble massage machine and see that it is made in China. It seems that the air hose is quite thick and the cup or pot for the liquid is HUGE, it takes probably 700 to 800ml is this normal?

I am not sure if I am just being picky or if I would be within my rights to return it. As you know I haven't used an HVLP for ages but I cant remember it being that unwieldy

Regards
Nikki

Sorry, if you have been duped.

However, there are so many threads on here that tell of the obvious problems with buying professional items from auction sites.

Why did you not buy from a reputable UK supplier.

Your best option is to contact the seller and explain you are confused.

Nikki sorry to hear of this problem..it is such a shame sellers are not more upfront about what they are selling.

If the product is not what you expected try and get back onto the seller and see if they will refund you..if you paid by paypal maybe you could even consider filing a dispute notice.

This machine is also called a "little piggy" it is used by some peeps however it really is what it is unfortunately
Good luck and hope you can get the issue sorted with the seller

Definetly do a Paypal dispute, you shouldn't have any problems in getting your money back-misrepresentation!

hi yes you are in your rights to send them back !! we sell the hvlp pig as well yes they are cheap china copys the guns leak and he has the lables of a bubble massarge unit for the bath !! so the guns also will be from car or fence sprayers iv seen them on e bay also very cheap and nasty !!

Thanks for yor replies, I was going to do a misrepresentaton on Paypal but wasn't sure if I was wrong and expecting too much. I appreciate your advice and as you are actually agreeing with me the Tiger inside is ready to pounce on the E bay cheat LOL.

I will let you know how things pan out

Definitely follow-up with Paypal. Might also be useful to contact Consumer Direct - I found them very helpful with a dispute I had. They helped me get £700 back. Good luck.

Thanks for your support and sympathies, I have contacted the seller and they have agreed to give a full refund, transaction has been cancelled on the auction site. They arent very happy as they have 100% feedback score on 6 transactions all less than 10 days old. Have tried to contact some of the purchasers but my pc was playing up, will try again, to see if they are still happy. need to contact paypal now to see if I can claim the courier fee back as I am sure the seller will just refund the purchase price.
Anyway will send item back and am going to buy another amber mist compressor, been put off the scary world of hvlp for a bit. Might get one later on when my old machine dies as a back up.

Time to maybe move on now and get your business rocking

Yes you are right Collin, better to move on. What goes around comes around and life is too short to get hung up with small time scams

hi not sure if iv read this right but are you saying your little piggies are cheap copies to???

I have the new little pig but after much deliberation about buying from ebay bought it from fake bake, total package compressor, gun, tent, 946ml darker souloutin and 100 pairs of paper breeks lol thats knickers btw  for £289 including vat. Not all ebay is bad I buy loads of stuff but this worked out a better deal as I needed the tent to, and sold the fake bake to my pal as I'm using xen tan and she uses fake bake. Glad you managed to get a refund thou xx
