Hi guys,
Read on a thread that some of you use e45 to moisturise your tan, so I bought some (e45 lotion bottle not cream tub) and its started breakin my tan down:cry:
Has anyone else experienced this? oil free moisturiser seems to be sooo expensive even at trade price, suppose it would be ok for a client only having the occassional tan, but I wear my tan all the time to promote my business so need to keep it looking good, any other cheaper alternatives??? xx

Hi there,
I use e45 everyday as my skin is prone to flair up with ezcema on occasions.
At the moment I am wearing fake bake and still use the cream everyday and havent found a problem with it at all.
I guess it depends on the solution?

Just a thought, does E45 contain alcohol? Im sure ive checked on the ingredients list before and that put me off using it with a fake tan.

omg moisturiser is a minefield lol If I knew how to I'd make a oil free moisturiser and sell it at a decent price too lol xx

Clean and clear do an oil free moisturiser which is reasonably priced :)

ooh thankyou! I will go seek on tinternet now lol xx

E45 contains ingredients which attract moisture and water to the skin to keep dry skin moisturised so this will help the tan to break down as the water is retained within the skin and hence causing the tan to wash off quicker...xXx
