Hi all

I'm doing an ear piercing course at college on Monday as part of their enrichment week. The kit we can choose to buy is a Studex one for £25. My question to you all is, should I order this kit, or should I buy a Caflon one from Capital? The Studex website looks to be 4 years out of date, which worries me a bit, but will I be able to use Caflon with a Studex certificate? I also wonder which is the preferred manufacturer amongst Geeks?

(I don't know how many earrings (if any) are included in the kit, I've looked on the web and seen that there are varying sizes. I enquired at college but no-one knows which particular kit it is.)

Please reply asap, as if I'm going to order the kit from college I need to go pay for it tomorrow morning.

Thanks me hunnies!

hi im a bit confused to but a level 3 came in yesterday and told us that the cheaper package that is available is good to she has earned money buy doin family members ears.so u dnt have to spend alot to

I'm trained in caflon and was told i couldnt use studex unless i was trained in their system. I'm not too fussed to be honest i thing caflon is much better. it looks more proffesional and also if they bring out a new gun then you can take your old one back and they will swap it free of charge.
I havent had that much business from it to be honest but it's always good to have.
Also hun when you get insurance be very carfeful and check to see if it covers you for cartilage piercing. Alot of people want the top of the ear done and some insurance companies only insure you for the ear lobe

I trained privately with Caflon.....NEVER had any probs at all x
