Hi there
I just spotted the easy soak system on Sweet Squared and it looks like a fab piece of kit! Does anyone have it and how good is it?

Does anyone know of any international suppliers that stock it?

Thanks!

Hiya,

I have one of these and I think they are fab. More comfortable for the client and with the lid, it is more user friendly in terms of the smell & evaporation of the acetone IMO.

The only down side is the cleaning of them after use. I usually roll a piece of kitchen towel up and stick it in the holes and let it soak up any left over acetone. When done I give it a scrub with anitibacterial soap and a babys bottle cleaning brush. It sounds a lot of faffing about, but only takes a couple of mins.:):):)

Hope this helps

It is a super piece of kit and the UP side is that when you clean it it does not discolour like many other soak off devises but stays looking nice. Cleaning is part of what we do so I think you can't really call it a down side really and as you say it doesn't take very long to do .... not that I enjoy cleaning ... but it has to be done. I can try to find out for you where it may be available in North America and Canada for you. I'll be back.

What I was trying to say that the cleaning is a little more fiddly that the "two bowl" method that, I for one used to use, and I know some still use.

I agree with Geeg 100% - fab pice of kit, and one that I don't think you would regret investing in.

I bought one of these about a month ago and am so glad I did! It's really cut down my soak off time and truely is more comfortable for clients.
I don't find it too bad to clean off....it kind of feels like 'non-stick' and I find it easy to clean.
Hope you can get one!!

I found mine a bit of a pain to clean, it kept drying with white patches after I had cleaned it lol but now I use some product remover on a lint free wipe or some roll and I go over it with that then rinse it quickly it looks like new again.
Also I use a tiny plastic jug to fill mine.. the type you get with a steam iron (it even has measurements on the side so you know how much you are using.
It is eill worth it,a great thing and very sturdy , I wouldn't be without it. :) HTH C x
