I've just been trying to order some Freeforms from The Edge
their website price is £24.95 + VAT + postage £6.50 = £36.95p (I didn't think I would have to pay VAT, as I'm in another country) not sure about this (I've never had VAT added before, or maybe it wasn't mentioned upfront).

The Ebay price (same company, same product) £29.49 + postage £7.00 = £36.50.

It doesn't seem the professional way to go .

But I guess my hands are tied and I'm a little disturbed.

Do you want me to give them a call for you and ask?
They're just round the corner from me.

I know you're not daft Carl, but i just wondered if there are the same amount of forms in the pack, with poppits peeps have been selling them in 10's 20's and 100

Sorry if i'm asking a stupid question :o

Carl they're checking with the VAT office and will call me back.
I believe they do sell directly on EBAY so it probably is the full amount.

They look like popits??

Pack of 100 up fpr £14.49 (post UK £1.00)
Pack of 300 up for £29.49 (post UK £1.50)

I paid something like £37 for mine altogether!! Ugh

Don't quote me but I believe so if you look at the way it is marketed on there.

i know i shouldnt say this but i bought my cnd performance forms from there as the seller had a shop and even though i had to get them posted from america it was cheaper than over here.

It does look like that, I'm shocked if it really is them though and not just some enterprising person who's not been stopped

I believe it's them. they're set up as The-Edge (I know you can call yourself anything you want) and they're in Basingstoke which is where they are.

.......Anyway Carl they've called me back.
They can void the VAT but to do this they have to send it registered delivery so that they have proof of sending it abroad, she didn't know what the postage would be to do it this way.

What if OUR clients did the same...brought their stuff of ebay...where would that leave YOU...??

The thing is it will always happen,i support my distributor and i KNOW i will get the same support back as and when i need it :)

Yes, I have emailed them 6 times negotiating what is going on, and they told me that it was them selling on ebay.
I'm getting very confused. But am forced to by off ebay as it's cheaper and their online checkout system denies me delivery, although the "Australia" option is there.

They have a non Ebay shop online too. I just assumed they were a professional company with training etc.

Imho in this case the distributor has left no other viable option, thank goodness not all have the same standards

We'll expect vids Nailzoo :D lol x

While I fully understand what everyone is saying about supporting our distributors...................why should we pay more ??????

I understand about the fleabay rip offs, and I wouldnt touch them with a barge pole, but in the case thats already been mentioned on the thread, same product, same quality, cheaper price........why should we pay more??

Feel free to shoot me down I have thick skin!!! Just thought I would put another angle to this thread.....................

Thanks, but after 6 emails back and forth, i'm better off to buy from ebay.
The thing about English sellers is, they think a ₤ or 2 is nothing, but up against the Aussie dollar, it all adds up.

I just had 100 Popits delivered and the postage was under ₤2.50

But then again, these guys will slog me for handling also.... I don't feel I can win.
