Hi guys

Anyone bought nail art form ebay, alot seems to come from hong kong? has anyone bought from there without any problems?

Also I notice canes, I have never seen or heard of them before? how do they work?

I dont know about the cains but some of the nail art bits a quite good, gems and glitters etc postage is quite fast x

I have ordered nail art things off eBay - I am not a professional by any means and aside from problems with 1 particular "shop" there, I have had no problems and found the items to be of good quality 9 out of 10 times :D

does anyone know if there is any tutorials on here for doing acrylic glitter tips? Im just trained in CND. I have seen someone do it by doing the french then putting nail clue over the white and putting glitter on top and then sealing with a coat of clear? is this the way to do it or is there another/easier way? as the smile line seemed really really rough?

Does CND have any glitter powders?

You can mix the glitter with clear powder, I use 3 parts powder to 1 part glitter, lay down a thinnish layer for your tip and then do a plain clear overlay. You need the overlay as most glitters will go silver if you file them to to shape and buff you need the protection of the clear overlay. Put on your top coat and you will have a smooth finish every time! To my knowledge CND do not do glitter powders but Young Nails or NFU Oh do fabulous ranges of them :) xxx

brill thanks

Would i need to buy there liquid as well as their powder or could i use my CND liquid and their powder?

Hi I use the canes all the time you slice them really thinly and embed them in your chosen overlay they look really good for examples try viva la nails and at your fingertips these sites also sell them .A word of advice dont buy them precut as they are too thick much better to do yourself ,on viva la nails they show a really good way to get ultra thin slices
Hopes this helps Marie

I buy my nail art things from a guy in Hong Kong and there fabulous, i've been ordering from him for years the products he supplies are fantastic quality, more than affordable prices and the delivery is faster than topshops!

A lot of the systems we all use import their nail art/ tools etc from Hong Kong and just package it prettier with their own brand. So if the feedback from the seller is good, then why not save some money?

I've bought shells and flowers from ebay a few years ago, much cheaper and I was happy with the quality.

To my knowledge CND do not do glitter powders

CND do have powders with both shimmer and sparkle in them, they are in the current catalogue and on the S2 website, there are some gorgeous colours and effects. The Young Nails glitters can be added to any powder so there is no need to buy a separate monomer liquid.

Adding glitter to clear powder is by far the easiest way of doing glitter tips.
