hiya, i was using salon systems products as a mobile technician and was happy enough with it and my clients were happy, however i have just got myself a salon and am looking to use the edge products any advice???

I really don't know if I am correct in what I say, maybe a more experienced nail tech can offer more help but I have feeling The Edge products are more suitable for training purposes. I tried them for a little while and thought they were fine UNTIL I tried CND products. If I were you I would do a search on here and see what the most popular brand is that the other geeks use and go from there. I can highly recommend EzFlow, they do a fab collection of glitter acrylics and you certainly won't go wrong with CND. Give sweet squared a call on 08452106060, the staff there are wonderful and will be more than happy to he'll.
HTH and good luck

thankyou i will give them a ring, i am just trying to get a product that will do the job and not cost me too much as i am on low budget after spending on the rest of my salon XX

I can't imagine how much setting up a salon would cost and I admire all the hard work you have put in to it but surely you want it to be offering your clients the best quality products. The cheaper the product the poorer the quality!

i would love to use CND but its just too expensive at the moment i am hoping to ue them next year after building my business up, i managed to get great results with the salon systems products and have many client that prefer me doing their nails with that then the local salons that use CND, really am looking for a good mid range product if anyone has any advice or has used one that they liked???

I would agree, I know salon setting up is costly. But would def go for the Ezflow Acrylics they are great colours. I may be wrong but a lot of clients won't even want grand designs to start with so that would keep your costs down. LCN gels are great too and whilst not cheap I think its better to invest and start right. If you start with cheap products and then change to expensive later on your clients are not going to thank you when you up your charges to cover the cost.

Anway good luck with it.

What about trying nsi- they are good and reasonable too xxx www.nsinails.co.uk xx
This is a mid price product I think its good but will always be a CND girl. You could also look at opi, odyssey or entity.
