Electrolysis

I am wondering if I should go ahead and do electrolysis training. I have been quoted £1000 for a 2 day one to one training course.
Couple of questions. Is it still relevant to do electrolysis?
Does anyone know of any training in Scotland?
Does anyone know how much the training should be ?
