Hi all!

I trained in hairdressing at college about 10 years ago but no longer work in the industry, so my knowledge is a bit rusty!

I’ve been dying my hair bright red for the last year, chucked a dark on which I regretted and my friend has a wedding coming up next month (covid depending) my hair does not match the bridesmaid dress At all and I look like a lolly pop 😂😂
I’ve had a perm, my hair is in good condition considering...

I want to lift it to a level 7, ash, I love wella illumina.

I have bleach bathed it, and put an 7/81 With a little 8 (just what I had lying around, I should of got a 7 really!) over the top but my roots have gone quite gold, And I haven’t lifted the ends of my hair enough, again i was quite conscious of the bleach on top of my perm, that would of been a scenario!

plan is to do another bleach bath next week,I was just wondering what colour / reccomendedations, mixing ratios do people recommend to help eliminate the brassyness!

I would usually just rock it, but the bride has gone Auburn and I don’t want to match/ copy 😂😂

thanks all

xx

I wouldn’t use more bleach on it after a perm, that’s asking for breakage.

Yeah I didn’t do a full head because was quite worried with the breakage... I did a bleach bath instead x

I’m almost happy with the depth, it’s mainly the red and gold tones I’m trying to eliminate ! X

The warmth on the m.l.e is a level 6. So a level 7 with added 8 making it lighter again won't cover the warmth you're dealing with.
If you like illumina 7/81 + 5/81 would be a good choice.
