Embedding Gems/Stickers in Fibreglass

Hello,

Im having a slight moment :o

Im pretty sure it would be ok but wanted to check with those in the know as these nais are for a wedding on friday !

Im doing a set of fibreglass nails tonight, white tips & soft touch fibreglass, the lady wants some 3d nail stickers on them.

My question is, is it ok to apply the sticker in between two layers of gel resin in order to stop them coming off or being picked off? (shes a picker!)

Sorry if it seems like a daft question-the heat is getting to me

Umm, I know I don't know and this is probably too late but I wouldn't see why you couldn't as long as you made sure the resin was dry before attaching the sticker and carefully applying the next layer of resin.

I've embedded stones in my fibreglass and did just this but attached them to a wet resin layer and they worked out fine for me.

I could be wrong though... :o

Quickly diverting away, how do you find the Soft Touch products? I'm having terrible mosaicing/cracking products with my overlays with it. Any suggestions?

Embedding them is not a problem, I use thick viscosity(Builder) resin. The stickers are self adhesive, place them where you want them, press down to make sure there are flat on the nail and then apply a bead of builder resin and brush out with the brush on activator. Have a play before the big day....
