I'm looking at opening my second salon.

At the moment I do all treatments and have someone rent a nail table.

I want to open a second shop in a different city but I'm absolutely terrified to employ!!

What's everyone's experience/tips?

Honestly, good staff no one seems to find these days even with great pay. Plus if you're opening in a different city then you have an issue with management and you not being there to oversee. Is it possible? Sure. Depends how deep your pockets are.

What makes you want to open a second salon?

Why wouldn't I want to replicate a successful salon in a different location

There would be a head therapist who would be paid more to do some overseeing. I would be around for a few days a week to manage also.

I tried and failed. I now concentrate on one salon and life is so much better.
