Hi Everyone My name is Kymara. just to let you know I'm really glad to have joined such a happy crew!!.

I have a question for anyone out there? .I've recently purchased Environ products on recommendation and lot of deliberation. Use it myself, didn't get the break outs through. However all of my clients - (the few) I have recommend to use this product there skin has gone crazy, I am losing my cred fast.
Question Has any heard of the product?
Has anyone used the product?
What do you think of the product?

I have used Environ as a client and never had a problem with it. There are lots of threads already about Environ. Try searching and see what you can find.

Depending on what they have been using before, could it be a "getting used" to a new product change.

Sometimes skin will have a purge when it's getting used to a new product range, and this particularly is more likely to happen with a more advanced / scientific skincare range, such as Environ.

Have you purchased your products from the UK distributor Landmark?

If so call them as the answers to this should have been covered in your training, before you became an Environ stockist.

If you haven't completed the training then I am really concerned as to how you could be supplying Environ to your clients.

I think you need to check her profile first before passing any judgement.

I wasn't passing judgement!

If you check my previous posts you will see that is something I never do.

With regards to checking profiles it is not something I routinely do or wish to start doing

The question asked was a basic one that would/should have been covered in Environ training, which needs to be completed BEFORE you are able to stock the product and supply it to clients. If this had not been covered in training then the UK distributor would have been very concerned as to why not.

The question didn't make it clear if Kymara was trained by Environ.

Education before retailing Environ is key hence my confusion.

If Kymara is not trained by Environ then she should NOT be retailing to clients without first understanding the product.

I don't think Martigirl was passing any judgement. I have looked at Kymara's profile myself and it states that she is a beauty therapist using Collin and Environ as her systems. This does not necessarily mean she has received training in the Environ system.

This is a perfectly valid suggestion and I feel sure that the official suppliers would be only to pleased to assist with any queries.

I have to agree with martigirl. This is something that you should really have learnt on the training. I am not trained in environ but will be in June and I believe that it is only be available from trained stockists. Could this be a retinol reaction?

I'm not trained in Environ, but worked in a salon where we retailed it, and my boss was trained and used the products, so I do have some knowledge of Environ...(I didn't recommend it to clients myself, I hasten to add!! But I picked up some knowledge along the way through listening to her..)

From what I understand, some people can have a reaction to the high levels of vitamin A in Environ. This is only temporary, and though it can be irritating and make them feel like they've chosen the wrong product for a while, if they keep going with it, then the skin will settle down.

If this doesn't sound right to anyone do please correct me, but that's what I understood. I'm sure if you have prescribed the right products for your client's skin condition, and they keep using them in the correct manner, the reactions/irritations they've had will clear up.

Hope that helps XX

I feel really strongly about this issue as an Environ stockist.

The products must be retailed by a trained Environ therapist. I am fully qualified to HND level but frankly this didn't come near to the excellent training I received from Environ.

I will absolutely NOT give any advice here or anywhere else to enable an untrained individual to retail products incorrectly to clients.(hence the reason I will not attempt to answer the original question)

I say again if I am reading this post incorrectly and you are trained Kymara by Environ then I would be speaking to the distributor as the question you ask is covered repeatedly in training.

One of my clients recommended Environ to her friend who thought she would purchase it via the internet (for not much of a saving I might add), this lady received no advice whatsoever and was able to purchase a completely unsuitable product which will ensure that her skins reacts and she will most likely be put off using a wonderful product.

Just adding my 2c worth on a subject nearly long dead - don't even know if anyone is even reading this post anymore.......

Dr Des Fernandes is and continues to be VERY strict on this matter. He is involved in on-going litigation(?) trying to STOP people selling this product on the internet simply because it is an ACTIVE product. That's why it works in the first place! This is his reputation and his product that is on the line. Not to mention all of us Environ trained Salon owners.

The fact is that people that are very Vit. A deficient in their skin will "respond" to the product but they get the BEST results! But if they are not being informed of this by an approved Environ Stockist they will very unfairly blame the product. And miss out on the opportunity of using the best product out there. Environ is results orientated.

I put my son on Debut at 3 months old. He's now 5 and on the Mens Range. Even used Ultra on him too.

That's it.

I don't think you can respond as you have in such a negative manner!!
You came on this site in April with a query where peeps tried to help you. Months later, you come back with an almost inflammatory response with no word in between in your thread :irked:! Hopefully you have climbed off your soap box!
