I had the rep round to talk to me about Environ last week and I was very impressed but just wondering about any feedback (good or bad) from people on here that have used or are using their products - how do you rate them?

I'm also looking into MD Formualtions and Eve Taylor not sure if I'm looking at the right type of product brands for my type of clients.

Hi Claire
I use the full range of Environ products, including the mens range.
I had spent such a long time researching different skincare ranges, and never finding one that I liked enough to invest with, and rave about. Also, so many skin care ranges can now be bought from cheap websites, or on the highstreet.

However, I went on a weeks product training with Environ - and fell in love with the range. It is all very affordable for people in general, and IT WORKS!! It really is a results driven range, and people who have been to me for facial treatments, have always bought homecare, and they lve it too. In fact, I have got into the habit of taking pictures of the clients (with their permission) before any Environ treatments, and then periodically afterwards, during their continued homecare and professional treatments. I keep the pics in the clients records and they get a real buzz out of it when they see the improvements.

The other great thing about environ is that you cannot buy the products on the highstreet, and they are very proactive in making sure their products are not sold on the internet - there is currently only one site doing this, and Environ are taking legal action. The roducts can only be sold by a trained and approved Environ stockist, and only after having a consultation - so, this is anoher great plus!

Environ are also very helpful with promoting the range, and helping you with all aspects of retailing, and providing treatments. They also provide you with leaflets, posters, and other promotional aids. The training s fantastic and I am so glad I decided to go with them.

The opening order is very affordable too, at just £500.00. After the initial order, you can simply order top ups as you require them in any quantity - no minimum spend.

If you want any further information, then PM me, and I will try and help

Regards

Terry

Iv got the rep coming out to me today for environ, as I have heard such great things! I use Eve Taylor at the mo, which is lovely, but in my opinion, not particuly results driven.

if you dont want to purchase the start up package and make up your own package is there a minimum order in general?

Just wondered whether you plan on keeping the Eve Taylor as well as the Environ if you get it? It's just that I have been looking into different ranges and these are the two that I am drawn to as a mobile therapist. I have considered offering them both. Don't know anyone that has the Eve Taylor but the Environ comes highly recommened from a couple of therapists I know.

TJReiki just wonder if you had to pay a lot for the training?

lots of geeks on here have eve taylor including moi... i love it!
i would like to know more about environ, is there a minimum order?

Don't quote me but I think the rep said the training was £85 (or was it £185?) can't remember now. They have training schhol in London, Leeds, Manchester and somewhere in Scotland I think (I only listened to the areas IU can get to and if you decide to go by train every day they pick you up and drop you off at the station.

Thanks for the info - its instilled more confidence in me - the taking pictures before and after is a fab idea, I will have to pinch that idea too if you don't mind.

Oh and apparently they will do an open day/evening for you where you organise them to come in and do stuff to your potential clients to entice them to come in. very good me thinks.

Ha-Ha.... Dont mind you pinching the taking pictures Idea at all - it really does show the client what a difference there has been.
Yes, the training is £85.00 for the whole training - such good value. And, the training isn't "hard Sell". In fact there is no selling speak at all, it is just extremely thorough, going through each and every product in the range - when and how to use etc - Excellent

You are right about the events that Environ do for you also - These are brilliant. You need to have betwen 6 & 8 Clients attending, and also need to have enough product in stock to retail on the evening. They bring one of the Skin Analysis camera's and talk each person through their own problems, show them the problematic areas, explain what can be done, what products they need to buy from you, and they also book them in for facials for you too - they are FAB. They will also come out again 6 months later, and if the same clients attend, they will do another skin analysis on the camera, and show them the difference between the first one before they started using Environ and the latest one - this is a real win win situation for both you as a therapist and the client

If you don't want their suggested start up package, you can certainly choose your own start up package - thats what I did. However, itmust come to £500.00.

Hope this helps

Terry

Well I saw the Environ rep yesterday, and I have to say the range seems fantastic!
one of the things that I thought was great was that they strongly recommend that you go on the 4 days training first, THEN decide if its the range for you. I think this is fantastic as I have wasted so much time and money on products that I just wouldnt have taken on if I had worked with them first. I am very impressed with their whole company service, and the products seem amazing!

Sorry, I missed this question, lol!
I think I may keep Eve Taylor on for my "pampering" facials, as some of my clients love the products.

This thread has been extremely useful - especially to me anyway.

I am currently looking into skin care ranges and had some serious contenders but one I had to discount because I didnt personally like it on my skin.

I love Dermalogica and Susan Molyneux and would go with either of these two, except I may have to start of mobile initially so thats Dermalogica out of the window. After reading this thread I have done some research on Environ and I am liking what I see. I am going to ring for some samples today :)

i see that there is a start up pack...but do they allow you to buy the products gradually? im starting up mobile and i dont want to spend 500 on ALLLLLLL the products right away but i'v heard good things about them. i am a little confused also..who is the supplier to contact for advice etc? i have looked online but several different companies come up!!:green:
Thank youuuu x

Hi you have to spend £500 l had friends and family interested so they all bought avst1 and the c-quence eye cream so it wasn't quite as bad for me.

I've jut completed my Environ training and am now impatiently waiting for the rep to come on Monday so that I can make my opening order. And I have everal client already who want a phone call the moment it i in o they can come and buy their stuff!! :green:

The training and the products are second to none in my opinion. I have used Eve Taylor for the past 18 month and struggled to get skincare clients, but with Environ people are so keen, because it gives results, and thats what people want now. If they are going to spend x amount on skincare, then in this economic xlimate where money can be tight they want to see results for their money, not just something that smells nice IMO.

Hi Pure,

Did you do the Eve Taylor training?

No I didn't but I had the manual.

Environ is available to buy on the Totally Nourish website I think - this is the online shop for Patrick Holford's nutrition supplements among other things.

After reading all these threads it has sparked interest in me for Environ - sounds good.

I didn't think this was allowed Environ only sell through authorised stockists and take legal action if anyone else tries to.....see this thread http://www.salongeek.com/skin-geek/93674-environ-very-impressive.html

Have double checked about Environ being sold elsewhere. As far as I can see you can buy a few products on this website www.totallynourish.com.
Also I would expect it to be dearer than buying professionally. For example Original Debut 50ml size costs £25.95 (not sure ifincludes VAT or not).
