If you do not know which needle or how to select the right needle for each client then I feel you should do a refresher course. Different manufacturers will also produce varying thickeness for the same category eg. a size 2 in one brand may match a size 3 of another brand! This is a treatment that can result in permanent scarring if performed incorrrectly so please be careful.:)

I agree definetly think you and your therapist should go on a refresher before starting with clients!

The needle size you choose depends on the type of hair as the diameter of the needle must equal the thickness of the hair being treated.

If you use too small a needle for the thickness of the hair, this will be more painful for your client as a narrower needle is more intense and also treatment will not be effective.

Poor epilation treatments are the fastest way to destroy a good reputation! You're better to not offer the treatment than to provide a sub-standard treatment. I would book a refresher course and I'm sure everything will come back to you ~ like riding a bike!
Good luck!
