Estee lauder telephone interview

Hi All

has any1 had a telephone interview with this company before ? i have a telephone interview scheduled for 2mo morning i am really excited as i have wanted to work on a make up counter for a while now so i hope i get the job.

the lady on the phone said there will be questions on the brand and product and also why i want to work for this company as apposed to any other

has any1 got any useful hint or tips could really do with a bit of help xxx

A friend of mine had one of these Estee Lauder telephone interviews and from what I can remember they asked her what she would do if a client complained. Unfortunately that's all I can remember her saying, it was a long time ago. Hope someone else can help you more.

Yes I have had one of these, unfortunately I didn't get the job as I 'lacked retail experience'. Do your research in to the brand history (mine was for Bobbi Brown). They asked all sorts of questions from 'which product was launched first, in what year and in which store'. Know the brands products as I was asked 'which was my favorite Bobbi Brown product and why' Then do some research into selling techniques as I was also asked something along the lines of 'how would you entice me into purchasing this particular product'.

Be aware that if you do not succeed you will be unable to apply for any position within the Estee Lauder group for 4 months so research well!
