Hi All,

I've only recently joined this site, so thought i'd introduce myself and ask you lovely bunch about the Excel show coming up.

I'm currently a student, but qualify next year, i'm going to the show on 3rd March, however i'm not sure what the deal is with students.

I've been told students can attend (i have receved a ticket in post so guess must be ok) but i'm coming from quite far away and dont want to get all the way there to be told i can't enter!

For those of you who have been before are there normally a lot of students? Do they wear their college uniforms etc??

Looking forward to getting to know you all.
Thanks.:)

Wear what ever you like hun, this is a day out but a pair of flat shoes could be your best bet as the place is huge and there is so much to see you will be walking around all day,
if you have a ticket you will have no problem getting in, you just show your ticket at the doors and wear it for the rest of the day,
yes they will be students arriving by the coach loads so you will not be the only student there hth
Welcome to the site by the way

:Kissing: i went to excel with my coll and a few students went downthemselves j:Kissing:ust take ur student id :hug:card along with ticket and enjoy urself

Thanks for replies and the welcome :)

Yes i didn't think of groups from colleges going. I'm doing an evening course as I work full time, so it would be a bit difficult I guess for them to organise a trip, so am going by myself.

I'll have to remember to take my student ID - will they let me in if i forget :)

One more Question - what's the transport like round there, i am planning on getting the train, but wouldn't have a clue where to start looking to find out, ooops :)

hey kell,

I'm 99% they would let you in without your college ID, but maybe just pop it in your bag just incase, althought I have never been asked..

Transport, well its london what can i say! plan well in advance how you will be getting from your train station to Excel. I am getting the coach to Victoria, then the tube from there (long way!) look on Home | Transport for London for a travel planner, and on ... for a good map of Excel..Professional Beauty and Professional Spa - Professional Beauty at ExCeL London: Visitor Information

Have fun and see you on the 3rd :) xxx

Thanks for the links SallygirlJoJo,

I'm make sure i take my ID just in case and i'll have to look at travel and work out where i need to go too, i think after having a quick look in eed to get 4 trains!!!!

hi
we are taking our students down on the monday and have been informed they need to wear uniforms.
so I would double check on the website.

if you check on professional beauty website, it does say that students attending must wear their uniform:)

Hello,
Yes thats right i called them and if you have registered as a student you have to wear uniform and if you dont they wont let you in.

I also asked if you had to proove you were a student and they said no.

Hope this helps.

I am going on the 3rd with a group of college pals, we are making a break of it and going to watch dirty dancing, all four of us in one room for 2 nights i am really looking forward to it.
