what do you like about the one you use,do you like one that lathers up and smells nice or is it all about being natural and just getting the dead skin cells of what about colours? red with white jojoba ? or blue? possibly green fragrance what do you think it should smell off or what does the one you use smell of
Do your customers buy it or is it sat on the shelves gathering dust:irked:
What would be a fair end user price for a 200ml bottle and for a 15ml sachet

I would just like to add we dont sell or stock any exfoliants this is purely a market research question
and i would genuinely like your honest opinions
thank you all in advance

Being natural is important to me, not too bothered about the scent but quite like fruity or fresh smells - definitely not perfumed smells.
Just really want it to do the job.
Obviously since natural is my favourite I wouldn't expect it to lather up.
I would expect to pay a little extra for a completely natural product so probably around £15 give or take a few.
I haven't been pushing any retail, so not sure how well it would sell.

my absolute fave exfoliator is skin so soft body buffer by avon. i KNOW is should prob be advertising a higher end product to clients but i love this product so much! Nice cleaning smell, good scrubbiness, not foamy at all. lovely. and the lush body bar, called buffy the backside slayer is good too!! :) xxx

I just use exfoliating gloves with my fav shower gel-fcuk.
I don't retail exfoliators in my salon. I just tell my clients to go buy some exfoliating gloves-great salesperson huh?!! Lol
Maybe i should get some exfoliating gloves in to retail

yeh, now you mention it, i love my gloves too...slightly cheaper than stocking up on exfoliater!! :D

i think if you went on the lush website, you would find buffy. client bought me some a good few years ago, its sooooooo good!!! Moisturising and scrubby too!!! :D

From my experience most clients will not buy a full sized product because the only time they exfoliate is when they come in for a spray tan - lol.

for this reason sachets would be a good from my point of view as I could probably retail these fairly easily.

I already retail exfoliating gloves and they go very well.

What would also be good is a range of other products in sachets (like the ones Sienna X do).

I retail the Decleor body exfoliators (creme exfoliante, which is divine, especially for drier skins, and their exfoliating shower gel for those in more of a hurry), and the St Tropez exfoliator. I have a range as different people seem to seek different things in their exfoliators. As I do a lot of body treatments I sell quite a few exfoliators, else they are wasting their body moisturisers!

Personally I use & adore Decleor's Creme Exfoliante; it has rounded beads so doesn't scratch the skin or irritate it, which combined with the aloe vera seems to leave the skin exfoliated without any redness or soreness.

Could I ask where you get your exfoliating gloves for retail? Been looking but can't find any at a reasonable price? xx

Well that's because you live in Littlehampton! Even the charity shops are full of designer clothes there-lol

For me I love a harsh body scrub at the moment I am using Liz Earle body scrub - I love it, another favourite is the St Tropez body scrub.
I am not bothered if it foams up or not (dont think I have ever used one that does foam up)
I am not really interested in colours or smells either, its all about the texture of the scrub!!

Love Emma x:hug:x

For me its the Body shop coconut body scrub it smells gorgeous and you can bring the body butter and shower cream as a set for £ 20+ i work for body shop at home so get to use all the products and i've found alot of people like this coconut one and use it before spray tans as well because it leaves they skin lovely and soft as well as removing the dead skin cells

any natural product - no SLS or Parabens. I love Neals Yard body polish but tend to use an exfoliating massage mitt in the shower.

Retail sachets would be very welcome.

i get mine from my local cheapy shop. they are 49p each which is cheaper than i can find anywhere, even wholesale. I retail them at 99p and sell quite a few so maybe try looking in your local cheap shops (poundland b&ms) not sure what yours are called near where you live!!
