Eye cream on eyelids?

Hi geeks, Is it ok to apply eye cream over eye lids? X

The muscles of the eyelid and the surrounding area - orbicularis oculi and levator palpebrae - are very powerful and will assist in moving product around this area. If you apply product to the eyelid itself you run the risk of it getting into the eye itself and causing a bit of irritation.
We advise people to apply products only to the brow bone and zygomatic bone, and rely on the muscles to allow the spread across the eyelids.

It definitely depends on the product - Environ recommend taking theirs right up to the eyelid, so I would check with your suppler!

Cetuem have a great range eye cream and gel you apply on eyelids, including their skin brightening illuminating mask which can also be applied as eye mask. Helped my dark black circles
