Hi, i was just wondering how much you would charge for an eyelash perm and how many of you think they are really effective? Ive had several done whilst doing my training and both myself and other therapists have not really been wowed with the results. Do you need more of the perming lotion and fixing lotion because i dont overload it on?

I charge £40. I think this is a lot higher than most geeks but I don't get very many people asking for it and the solution goes off so quick.
It is affective if you know how to do it properly.
My college taught me to just apply a thin line of perming solution to where you want the curl to start. I have since found out they only teach like this to save on product.
I now place the solution where i want the curl to start and continue upto the end of the lashes.
You have to be really careful that you are using the right sized rods as it can turn out a horrible mess with lashes bent everywhere.

I don't do lash perming at all and have never been asked for it in the 2 years i've had my own business. I do get lots of lash tinting clients though

Hi

I charge £20. I use the Thuya eyelash perming kit. I've tried others, including the much raved about LVL and found them useless. The Thuya one always gives good results. The only time it failed was on a half Chinese client whose poker straight lashes just lifted slightly but would not curl.

The Thuya perm and neutraliser solutions come in sachets so it's not like a big bottle that will go off. I actually only use half a sachet per client and seal up the packets by wrapping tightly in cling film. So that brings my cost per treatment down and I can charge less.

It's not very popular though, even at that price!

ah thank you bed bunny, I will have to try that product, I dread anyone asking for it because I worry its not going to work very well then its difficult taking the money, I have spent about £70 on the products but never charged anyone cos only been doing it for practice, a lot of people say its not a very popular treatment though

i love it, so does everyone i've done it on- i team it with a tint. I dont charge for it yet (i'm not qualified to perform on paying customers for another couple of weeks!) so have only done it for practice.
i dont find it difficult to do either. The local salons to me seem to be charging in the region of £25.

I do quite a few, it seems quite popular....but saying that I have found that when I have put it on an offer I get quite a few booking in fir it, if I dont put it on offer then it's not as populr, but I have returning clients which is great, my regular charge £20 for perm, £5.50 for tint, but my offer is usually either free tint with perm or perm for £15 but then people always book a tint too so works out about same price lol. I use thuya and have always been pleased with results and so have my clients ;)

I charge £22 or £28 when a tint is included and I find it fairly popular. I have done about 6 so far this month.

I too use Thuya and have never had a bad result yet.

At my salon it is £24.
It's not really popular although had a client in this week for one. Not only that but she gave a £10 tip!!
It can be quite effective but it's not popular.
