Hi

Can anyone help me out there fairly new to ee completed my training and done about 12 sets for practice. I have found a couple of my ladies literally have 3or4 lashes that cross over each other at the root and it is impossible to seperate them does anyone else have this problem and how do you deal with putting a lash on these without them clumping together??? Also does anyone else have any tips on how to get the fullest looking lashes I have read somewhere that putting shorter length lashes in between longer ones gives this effect. My training was very limited in styles of lashes apart from gradulating lengths across the eye lid eg. 13,12,10,8??? anyone got some advice please. Much appreciated.

Sorry, no magic tips from me. I just spend longer on isolating lashes like these. Sometimes I find it easier to apply lashes all around then go back to these ones. I agree shorter lashes in between will give a more volumised effect. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

If the lashes are crossed at the root, but grow straight (iykwim) then isolate the lash, apply the lash and hold for a few seconds until dry. When you release the other lashes they shouldnt stick. if the lashes are crossed and dont grow straight, unless you can apply the lash straight, (which I know will create less of a bond) dont apply a lash to it. this shoulddnt be the case though as i have found very few lashes that you can actualy apply a lash to. Just try to bear in mind that if you dont apply the lash straight, it will accentuate the crazy lashes, so a no-no. We should be trying to correct any problems. Hope that makes sense:hug:

For volume, fill, fill, fill! Using differant lengths gives a nice fluffy look. if lashes can cope with it, use some shorter, thicker lashes in between your lengths to fatten them up.

Thanks girls for advice much appreciated. Just need more practice I think. :)

I've found the little flag idea great for those crossed over lashes. Ooh someone had a picture of it in their profile and i can't remember who it was :irked:
Basically you place some transpore tape on the end of a microbrush to make a little flag. Any difficult lashes can be placed on the tape and kept well out of the way of the other lashes. It's great for those awkward lashes.
Oh i'm so rubbish at explaining things! I have a set to do first thing in the morning, so i will take a pic then and post it on my profile tomorrow :)
