Eyebrow tinting help

I’m unsure how dark to go on my client so I’m applying then removing them reapplying, what do I remove the tint with? Is a damp cotton wool pad ok or will this affect the tint if I’m re-applying it? Sorry if this is a silly question x

Damp cotton wool is fine.x

Damp cotton wool is fine but I remove with dry cotton wool to show client to ask if they want to go darker, then when they are satisfied I use damp cotton wool x

Cotton wool pad is totally fine to work with in this situation.
