i have been approached by a local beauty school offering a discounted cancellation on their eyelash tinting, brow tinting and shaping course .. perming not included

i expressed some interest in another one of their courses at some point, although i never took it any further .. so i guess they got my details from my original enquiry

its just that i have never considered eyelash / brow tinting, i have trained in eyebrow shaping with my makeup course, and not too fussed about the perming as plan to train in semi permanent eyelash extensions - just wondering if there is much demand for it?

im a mua specialising in bridal and special occasion makeup, eyelash/brow tint and brow shape work alongside this, is there much demand for it for brides and could it be a stand alone service that local customers (non bridal) might book me for on a regular basis?

any advice would be appreciated, as obviously need to get back to them asap

many thanks

Hi - To be honest - I have had a few clients that get Eyelash/brow tinting done and usually they will come every 3/4 weeks and have it re-done - Its also a good promotional idea for the summer holiday season as alot of people like not to have to wear mascara when on holiday as they are in and out of the pool etc so maybe its worth it. I only have 3 or 4 regulars though for tinting. It may be worth targeting 2 groups - older ladies and the holiday crowd -how much are they charging for the course and how long will it take to do?

Tinting is really popular treatment and you can sell it to your brides ready for their honeymoon, swo will always look gorgeous without having to worry about eye makeup.

I have around 5/6 clients that have it done every four weeks and then always have others having the one off treatment for holidays etc. I find its a really popular treatment. xx

It's a treatment that I like having done fairly regularly; had my lashes tinted just before Sonia and I got married, as Vanessa (the lady who did our wedding make-up and photography) said that it would make my lashes look lovely and dark, and be a better base for the mascara for my wedding make-up - whereas Sonia is dark haired and has naturally dark lashes, mine are quite fair naturally.
