Out of curiosity...

I am assuming when you open a new bottle of adhesive the process of oxidisation starts... So what exactly happens to adhesive that has passed its shelf life?

Does the quality of the adhesive degrade therefore reducing it's efficiency? does it cause an allergic skin reaction?

It wouldnt cause any allergies or abnormal reactions...bit like tanning liquid that is out of date it doesnt suddenly stop working on the "use by date" but it will degrade slowly.

In the case of lash adhesive you will find it might get runny or gloopy and difficult to work with depending on which formulation you are using.
Its best to use it in its shelf life but if you are using it a couple of days or weeks later you wont have a problem, however ....if you expect the adhesive to work once its 6 months out of date.....

its all relative and due to how its stored etc. so dont worry too much about a short time over the date.....

The bond will not hold for as long when it is past its shelf life, hth
