Hey!!

I am new to eyelash extensions and have only recently just started but am needing a little bit of help re the glue! The adhesive I was supplied in my kit seems to take ages to dry, therefore once i let go of the lash it immediatly attaches itself to other lashes! Is there something I am doing wrong or could it be the adhesive I am using?

Hiya

I would try either using a little blower to speed up the drying process, or get a new faster drying glue :D

Who did you train with my darling, did they not cover this in the training they gave you and supply you with a puffer of some sort? The faster drying glues are great but not always suitable if you have not got much experience.

Contact your trainer and see if they do something that will help you, otherwise have a look at something like Flirties and buy one of their puffer thingies! :D

could you not just keep the lashes seperate for a few seconds longer? especially if you are relatively new to lashes the last thing you want is to buy some fast setting glue and end up having lashes stuck super quick that aren't perfectly placed. i have done my training and have done 1 full set but that was just on a friend and i must say that i didn't have any problems with the glue at all. i don't know how you was trained, but with my training and in my manual it says to brush the lashes through after a few have been applied, maybe that can help free any in future that might have caught on the glue? x

I agree with everything that has been said. Keep them separated for a bit longer, do not use too much adhesive as that will only make it dry longer. If you feel that you are already fast with application of lashes then you should consider moving to faster drying adhesive. As far as I'm know all professional lash companies have slow drying adhesive (suitable for beginners) and fast drying adhesive (for those who are confident with application skills). Good Luck

Hi

Are you putting too much adhesive on the lash? There should only be 3 driplets on them. Try using a cocktail stick (or similar) to stroke the glue down and remove the excess glue with - this should help with stickies.

Thank you very much for all your help! I am doing my next set of lashes today so with all your helpful tips I am going to try keeping the lash seperated for a little bit longer to see if that helps and also trying to use a little less adhesive (although I dont think I am using too much now)... if not I am going to purchase a quicker drying glue as the one I have is for begginers :o)

Thanks ladies :o) xxx

hi
i did my trainign with ellisons using thuya. the glue we got in our kits was a training glue!! so it does take ages to dry!! sounds like you got the training glue - but its good to keep for those people who just want them on for one set we were told!!!

Hello

I've recently trained for lash extensions using Hollywood lashes products. 2 of my clients have lost quite alot after only 2 days. Can anyone tell me if it's the glue or my application?
And also is flirties the best glue to get?

Thanks

Thank
