Hi Linda,
I know you may have heard this one before.... Practice! Its really hard to give people time tips without seeing how they do they actual process. I guess once you are confident - and you sound like you are. You just need to work faster and speed your self up more.
If your clients talk sometimes it can make the difference of half an hour or so! If you have a problem with this tell them to bring their Ipod along, plug it in and just relax - most of them will fall asleep , giving you time to really concentrate on the job at hand.
WHere you place your lashes and equipment are also a big thing - make sure everything is nice and close and organized. Make sure you are set up before your client comes - If you do back to back clients its a good idea to pack up and lay out the next lot of tools for the next client, while your current client is waiting for all the glue to dry (at the end of lashes i ask the client to remain laying down with a small fan on her - to ensure the bond is fully set and that no fumes will affect her)
Keep consultations to the point and get as much info inside of 5-10 mins as possible. Dont let your client wander off on other topics.
You can use several different tools to speed things up a little too - have you tried glue pots and glue rings? have you tried using mink or silk lashes that can be adhered to the back of your hand for ease of use?
Like i said hard to give you tips - without seeing you actually work. The above are just some general tips on speeding things up. Always remember the golden rule - its quality over quantity (at first) the just start perfecting our speed - this takes practice just like when you were first learning the techniques of application.
Feel free to ask any questions and I will try and help
